GENT Peel – For Professional Use Only – 15ml
Advanced Body Peel for Brightening and Depigmentation
Designed specifically for use on sensitive areas, such as intimate zones, underarms, elbows, knees, groins, and other friction-prone regions. This peel effectively inhibits melanogenesis while providing significant skin brightening and exfoliating benefits.
Composition:
Our GENT Peel features a powerful blend of active ingredients tailored to combat pigmentation issues and enhance skin brightness:
Glycolic Acid: An alpha hydroxy acid (AHA) that exfoliates the skin, sloughing off dead cells and fostering cellular renewal for a smoother, more luminous complexion.
Tranexamic Acid: Recognized for its depigmenting effects, Tranexamic Acid helps curb melanin production and diminish dark spots, hyperpigmentation, and uneven skin tone.
Kojic Acid: A natural skin brightener, Kojic Acid aids in balancing skin tone and reducing the appearance of age spots, sun damage, and other pigmentation issues.
Citric Acid: This AHA provides mild exfoliation, encourages cell turnover, and improves overall skin texture and brightness.
Lactic Acid: Another AHA that promotes exfoliation, stimulates collagen synthesis, and enhances hydration in the skin.
Salicylic Acid: Known for its exfoliating and anti-inflammatory properties, Salicylic Acid unclogs pores, helps prevent acne breakouts, and promotes a smoother skin texture.
Properties:
The GENT Peel offers numerous benefits, targeting pigmentation concerns and delivering skin-brightening results:
Depigmenting Effect: A blend of Tranexamic Acid, Kojic Acid, and Citric Acid works to suppress melanin production, significantly reducing dark spots and hyperpigmentation, especially in sensitive areas.
Skin Brightening: The synergistic action of Kojic Acid, Citric Acid, and Lactic Acid promotes an even skin tone and enhances overall radiance. This peel helps diminish age spots and sunspots, resulting in a more vibrant complexion.
Exfoliating and Regenerating: The combination of AHAs, including Glycolic, Citric, and Lactic Acids, gently exfoliates the skin, facilitating the removal of dead cells and promoting cell renewal. This process improves skin texture and smoothness.
Usage Guidelines:
To maximize the benefits of the GENT Peel, adhere to the following usage instructions:
Preparation: Thoroughly cleanse the target area(s), ensuring the skin is dry and free from oils, lotions, or any residues.
Application: Using a brush or applicator, apply a thin, even layer of the GENT Peel to the designated areas, avoiding sensitive regions and mucous membranes.
Duration and Sensation: Follow the recommended application time as instructed by your skincare professional. Mild tingling or warming sensations may occur, indicating that the peel is working effectively.
Neutralization: Once the recommended time has elapsed, neutralize the peel by rinsing the treated area(s) thoroughly with cool water or a neutralizing solution, as per the provided guidelines.
Post-Treatment Care: After rinsing, apply a soothing and hydrating moisturizer to calm the skin. It’s crucial to shield the treated areas from sunlight using a broad-spectrum sunscreen with a high SPF to prevent sun damage and maintain the results of the peel.
Note:
Consult a skincare professional or dermatologist before utilizing the GENT Peel, especially if you have particular skin conditions or sensitivities. They will provide guidance on the appropriate concentration, frequency, and overall treatment regimen for optimal results.
What is Frosting?
Frosting may naturally occur during the application of acid peels. This chemical reaction results from the interaction between the acid and skin proteins, similar to the way albumin or egg whites turn white when cooked. It’s important to note that each layer applied increases the peel’s concentration by approximately 0.25%. Thus, applying one layer of a 30% peel raises the concentration by 7.5%.
Frosting is a desirable outcome; some skin areas may turn white while others remain unaffected. The likelihood of frosting increases with the number of layers applied. Typically, frosting occurs with milder acid peels only when three or more layers are utilized. The presence of frosting indicates that the skin is likely to peel within a week.
During the peeling phase, the skin may appear hard, leathery, and thick, often crumpling like paper. Color variations, such as red, dark, or brown areas, signify deeper peeling, which may last longer in certain regions. After the peeling process, the skin will appear smoother, brighter, and remarkably poreless.
